The Lawn Sipper — Channeled Piece (UNYC Member Portrait)
Unnamed Yacht Club
The Unnamed Yacht Club is a collection of 12 member portraits made from memories, mementos, and imagery. Photography, graphic design, fiber arts, and woodwork come together to introduce you to people you already know.
The vibe is relaxed. The finish has patina. The members are unapologetically themselves — most certainly flawed, and always patting the seat next to them for you to join in.

The Channeled Piece
Each UNYC portrait begins with photography. Ashley Lippincott deconstructs the image and rebuilds it through graphic design, creating the coastal pop art composition you see here. That design is then printed in-house on matte canvas, sewn and upholstered using a marine upholstery sewing machine and thread, and framed in a custom maple frame held together with a sapele spline.
The result is a raised, dimensional, tactile surface unlike anything in traditional painting — coastal pop art you can almost feel.
The portrait features a chilled bottle of Narragansett Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2026, a wedge of cheese, and a monogrammed TLS ashtray — the details of an afternoon done exactly right.
Signed and dated on verso by Ashley Lippincott, 2026.
The Bag Is Also Art
This piece arrives in its own custom oversized coastal pop art boat bag — designed and embroidered to match the portrait. Each bag is unique to its member.
Embroidered on the bag: “The Original 1.” There is only one. It belongs with this piece.
The bag is not packaging. It is part of the work.
